Despite the current COVID-19 pandemic we still provide support services to our community through PHONE APPOINTMENTS ONLY. 

Suncoast Community Legal Service relies on the generosity of volunteer lawyers from the local legal profession to provide free legal advice sessions. Appointments are limited to fifteen minutes.  Lawyers can offer general advice and appropriate referrals only. Booking an appointment is essential by either completing the form below or by phoning 07 5376 7800 during office hours. Advices will not be provided via email.

We provide information, referrals and legal advice across several Sunshine Coast locations in all areas of community law, including:

In most instances Suncoast Community Legal Service Inc. provides advice and referral services only. There is no charge for the services provide but clients are encouraged to make a small donation towards ongoing costs.

Most services are provided by volunteer lawyers and it is up to each volunteer what level of advice or assistance they are comfortable to provide.  Clients are able to make further appointments for advice, generally from a different lawyer. Capacity for assistance other than advice and referral is very limited and is at the discretion of the principal solicitor.  Suncoast Community Legal Service Inc. cannot represent parties in court or elsewhere. Suncoast Community Legal Service Inc. reserves the right to refuse or limit any advice or assistance at any time for any reason.
